Neighbourhood Tool Kit

Submitted by JFirth on January 25, 2016 - 5:04am

Want to do something new in your neighbourhood? The Neighbourhood Connection Office Toolkit is a “do-it-yourself”, go-to resource that will help you do just that. Here you will find practical tips, hands-on tools, and creative ideas for small-scale projects, all just a mouse-click away.

Although the Toolkit provides start to finish advice, its modular design allows you to pick-and-choose the specific info, tips and tools you need for different stages in the life of your projects.

To create our Toolkit, we asked experienced community project leaders, the ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ types, as well as City staff , “what should our Toolkit include?”  In addition to what they provided, based on what else they said we should include,  we sourced a wealth of wonderful resources from other websites and organizations. Rather than reinvent the wheel, the Toolkit has been built to take advantage of the many great tools and practical information already out there, that neighbourhoods can use. Thank you to all who contributed!
