Seeking Community members have written recently about experiencing the connection that comes from ‘making it’ through bitter cold weather, while in southern BC, where I have been visiting, the daffodils are popping up and the first fruit tree blossoms are open. Such is spring in Canada! Even people in our bitter cold places will soon be witnessing the beginning of a new cycle of life.

It strikes me each year at this time, how a community is like a garden. And how, if we work together, nourishing each other instead of competing against each other, we will all find room to grow into our best selves.

The handpicked highlights this month touch on the interconnected cycles of life and community – from birth and death, to a sense of belonging and recognizing the special role we each hold, to the layers of history in which we’re rooted, and to the wisdom in universal mysteries. May these ideas stimulate new springtime growth in each of you.
